When blended into the slurry at the recommended rate, Ultra-45H will produce a stable suspension containing 60% hydrated lime w/v (600gms of lime per litre), which equates to 45% w/w (450 gms of lime per kg of product). The suspension has a viscosity similar to that of paint.

One litre of Ultra-45H is sufficient to stabilise 40 litres of slurry, and the slurry will remain in suspension for several weeks.

The additives in Ultra-45H are non-toxic and degradable.

• Ultra-45H can be added as either as a pre-mix (ie before the addition of lime to the water) or as a post-mix (after the addition of lime to water or after slaking of quicklime).
• Sophisticated mixing equipment is not required - simply a mixing unit with sufficient agitation to blend Ultra-45H through the product.
• For lime manufacturers, Ultra-45H opens up the opportunity to supply a slurry which is far superior to the unstable, low concentration lime slurries normally available. Being a stable product, it does not require agitation during transport or storage, and the high concentration of lime in the suspension can reduce transport and handling costs considerably.
• For end users (eg mines and wastewater treatment plants), Ultra-45H allows on-site conversion of an unstable slurry into a stable suspension.
